I wanted to try this because it looked like a lot of fun and it was. I like to visit other artist’s blogs regularly and many were doing this, it started on this artist’s blog.

I kind of did something like this with the Helena caricature, for that I referenced some Thomas Gainsborough paintings.

I would love to see more like this! It’s absolutely brilliant! Maybe choose an artist from the time setting of the story too. It might make for a very interesting look!
